Rust Lab

The Rust Lab is a research group at the University of Chicago affiliated with the Institute for Genomics and Systems Biology and the Department of Molecular Genetics and Cell Biology. We use a combination of mathematical modeling and experimental biophysics and biochemistry to study the molecular mechanism of biological systems. A current focus is the protein-based core circadian oscillator from cyanobacteria.
